Site Remediation (Soils, Groundwater, Sediment)

Site RemediationOur environmental engineers have extensive experience with the design and implementation of remediation programs to address soil, groundwater, surface water and sediment contamination.DST considers various technologies in completing site remedial activities. Some of the technologies include soil washing, chemical in situ injections, excavation and removal, vapour extraction, as well as risk management measures. The type and applicability of each technology is evaluated based on the specific site conditions and the type of contaminants within the impacted media.

DST’s Site Remediation Services include:

  • Remediation feasibility studies
  • Cost estimates
  • Contaminant characterization services
  • Contractor prequalification, tendering and contract administration
  • Verification sampling and site supervision

Our remediation services can help to reduce contaminated site liability, to improve environmental quality on the site, or to prepare a contaminated site for redevelopment or sale. We also provide support services for remediation projects including Phase III environmental site assessments and records of site condition.
