Sediment & Erosion Controls

Site RemediationDST provides sediment and erosion control (SEC) services to clients from various sectors including government, municipal, and construction including railway development and mining. DST has a highly skilled and experienced team of engineers, scientists, and technicians who provide high quality services for the design, implementation, and effectiveness monitoring of sediment and erosion controls related to construction activities, dewatering and surface water management. Our staff can assist clients with assessing a site for potential issues, and design a mitigation strategy using the latest techniques and products for sediment and erosion control. Experienced field staff are available for on-site supervision and direction of installation and maintenance of SEC measures. DST has numerous Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) – RAQS qualified staff that are an essential part of MTO projects, and regularly work with contractors to ensure SEC effectiveness by conducting daily inspections and collaborating to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. DST subscribes to a proactive approach for SEC and works closely with clients to identify the most effective techniques for a given site with the ultimate goal of mitigating potential sediment and erosion issues before they occur.
