Exploration & Mine Development Permitting

blstDST provides extensive expertise towards the successful permitting of exploration and mining projects, including proposed, operating and historical operations. DST’s mining services team can provide support for all types of permits required to develop, operate or close a mine. This support can include regulatory agency and stakeholder consultation, required technical studies, application preparation and submission. We can also provide an evaluation of permits and approvals required for a project, and ensure that the appropriate authorities receive the proper notices for each stage of operations.

DST can provide the following Permits and Approvals:

  • Permit To Take Water
  • Environmental Compliance Approvals
    • Industrial Sewage Works
    • Waste Disposal Site
    • Air and Noise
  • Provincial Class Environmental Assessment
  • Scientific Collector’s Permit
  • Water crossings Work Permit and Authorization
  • Harmful Alteration, Disruption or Destruction (HADD) Authorization under the Fisheries Act
  • Species at Risk Act Permit

To maintain your project in compliance with existing permits, DST can carry out environmental monitoring and reporting specific to the permit, and submit the report to the regulatory agency.
