Natural Science Investigations

Natural Science InvestigationsDST’s team of wildlife experts includes Canadian certified environmental professionals in wildlife management and natural sciences, RAQs certified sediment and erosion control specialists and fisheries specialists, certified wetland evaluators, forestry professionals and statisticians. The natural science services DST can provide are varied and include, but are not limited to, developing management programs for urban avian populations, wetland evaluations, Natural Environment Level 1 and 2 reports for aggregate applications, species at risk surveys and permitting, fisheries mapping and habitat profiles, baseline assessments and environmental assessments. DST can assist with the development of natural science investigation work plans, the execution of management and natural science programs, as well as any associated permitting. DST works closely with regulatory representatives, including Canadian Wildlife Services, the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, to ensure client natural science needs are met in a cost effective and timely manner while ensuring natural science resources are managed efficiently.
