VibAccess is a new internet service that provides subscribers with quick and easy access to seismic event data.

Designed to simplify remote monitoring, data is transmitted from the field to clients in near-real time and can be accessed using a variety of electronic devices.

The system is fast, accessible, and user friendly. Whether monitoring vibration, noise, or both on your next project, VibAccess has you covered.

How does VibAccess work?

DST field technicians deploy seismographs to appropriate locations in the field (construction site, mine site, etc). These seismographs are programmed to trigger when seismic or noise events above a certain threshold occur.

Upon reaching the identified threshold, data is sent via cellular network or other suitable transmission medium to the VibAccess server.

Here, the data is processed, stored in the VibAccess database, and an email notification of the event is sent out to subscribers. They can also access the information via the web site showing current and historical data.

VibAccess System Highlights

  • Summary Data highlights events that may require deeper analysis
  • Filter event data, by Project, Seismograph and Date
  • Sort by Project, Time, etc.
  • View event details in web browser or download as a pdf
  • Near real time transmission of events to subscribers via email
  • Clients can choose which projects they receive events for
  • Graphical Map showing locations of sensors
  • Works on Smartphones and other small form factor devices
