DST Provides Flood Relief to Thunder Bay Residents and Employees who were affected by the flood. Extensive flooding due to heavy rainfall on May 27th prompted the City of Thunder Bay to declare a state of emergency. There were over 3, 000 homes affected by the flood with many city residents losing personal possessions and being left without power for days. DST committed to providing relief to any DST employees who were affected by the flood and they also vowed to match all internal donations that were made to the relief effort. In total, DST contributed $4750 to the Canadian Red Cross Flood Relief Fund and an additional $1700 in relief items.
