Consulting Services for First Nations Clients

DST’s integrated team has been providing comprehensive environmental and geotechnical consulting engineering services to various First Nation communities and organizations across Canada for over 40 years.

In this time we have developed strong and lasting relationships with a range of First Nation clients and partners based on our proven track-record for delivering unique solutions to the projects being undertaken by First Nation communities.

Our experience with First Nation groups is diverse, ranging from the provision of consulting services to communities throughout the region, to working alongside members of First Nation communities to advance projects in which these communities have an interest. In all cases DST recognizes the value of mutual respect, understanding, and positive collaboration with First Nation partners through all stages of each project.

Whenever possible, DST’s staff works directly with the First Nation communities to enhance benefits to the project, community, and region.

Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business

DST Consulting Engineers Inc, A Division of Englobe, is a proud non-Aboriginal member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

This membership signifies our ongoing mission to foster relationships between our Aboriginal community partners and work alongside them to succeed.

The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) is a national, non-partisan, member-based organization and receives no core government funding. CCAB’s mission is supported by dedicated members through membership dues, events and sponsorship. Today, the growing success of the Aboriginal economy indicates that we are steadily progressing towards recovering equitable and sustainable business relationships between Aboriginal Peoples for the betterment of all Canadians.

DST is proud to have an Indigenous Relations Policy. This ensures we are committed to help grow, foster and consult First Nations in a respectful and meaningful way. This policy is the framework for our work with First Nations partners across Canada – outlining our commitments to fair work, equal partnership, equity in employment, and community outreach.
