DST’s Eric Domingue Gives Tailings Dams Lecture

On Thursday, March 26th DST’s Eric Domingue, Environment Operations Manager, spoke to a captivated audience at Thompson River University (TRU) in Kamloops, BC on Tailings and Tailings Dams 101.

Covering all things tailings, including the good, the bad, and the ugly, Eric spoke for about an hour and fielded some tough questions from the audience.

DST was invited to speak on the topic by the Kamloops Exploration Group as part of their public outreach lecture series. Given the recent Mount Polly tailings pond breach it comes as no surprise that Eric’s talk was one of the best attended, also drawing attention from local media.
